Sumpetar (Omis) [Split Trogir and Omis riviera]
Sumpetar, 15 km south of the city of Split and close to Omis, is ideal for guests who would like to spend their holidays in a small place. The coastline in this area is well indented and has numerous bays with small beaches, while there are concrete swimming areas in front of some of the private houses. In Sumpetar and its surroundings, there are several examples of rural architecture, while the fertile land allows inhabitants to grow fruit, vegetables and grapes. Mosor Mountain nearby is very popular with climbers, cyclists and hikers, while speed lovers can enjoy rafting on Cetina River.
