Description

Saturday:

Boarding between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm in the port in Rijeka. Soon afterwards we will set sail in the direction of Malinska on the island of Krk. Here we will begin with the cycling: from Malinska we will ride through the villages of St. Anton, Nenadići and Vrha towards Krk, the capital of the like-named island. Dinner on board the boat and overnight stay in the port in Krk. (approximately 22 km cycling)

Sunday:

Today we will sail from Krk to Lopar on the northern part of the island of Rab. By bicycle we will cross the entire island from the north towards south, through the villages of Supetarska draga, Kampora, Rab, Barbata and Pudarice to Misnjak. Our boat will be waiting for us in the town of Rab port, amidst the matchless scenery of the old town, with its four bell towers. Lunch can be had in local restaurants during our route or in the town of Rab. Dinner on boat and overnight stay in Rab port. (approximately 43,5 km)

Monday:

It is only a half an hour boat ride to Luna, the northernmost point of the neighbouring island of Pag. The island itself enchants the visitors by its contrasts – in some places it is barren like the surface of the Moon, and elsewhere it is rich in meadows of aromatic herbs where numerous sheep, whose milk is used in making the famous Pag cheese, graze. Next we will sail to Novalja, the biggest town of the northern part of the island, where you can lunch in one of its restaurants and taverns. We will continue through the village of Kolane to Mandre, where our boat will be waiting for us. Dinner and overnight stay in Mandre. (approximately 35 km)

Tuesday:

After breakfast we will take the bus to the town of Obrovac, where we will be seated in a large canoe (capacity up to 10 people) and paddle upstream to the Jankovica Buk waterfall. Around noon we will have a picnic and take a short swimming break – just picture to yourself swimming underneath a waterfall in a crystal clear river… We will continue to paddle through the canyon of Zrmanja, known for its unique landscapes, contours and bird population, following the bus ride to Zadar, where we will board our boat again. Dinner on the boat and overnight stay.

Wednesday:

We’ll have quite a bit of sailing to do today: approximately 4 hours from Zadar to the town of Mali Losinj on the island of Losinj. Along the way we’ll drop anchor in a cove on one of the smaller islands south of Losinj to have lunch. Upon arrival to Mali Lošinj port, we will unload our bicycles again to meet the island’s unique lush nature and spacious pine forests. We will drive along the sea and around Čikat bay, past the Sunny Bay and to the picturesque marine town of Veli Lošinj. You can have dinner in one of the many restaurants in Mali Lošinj. Overnight stay in Mali Lošinj. (approximately 21,5 km)

Thursday:

The "2 islands" day! After breakfast we will hop on our bicycles and ride from Mali Lošinj through Nerezine to Osor, where the islands of Cres and Lošinj are connected by a moving bridge. Through villages of Belej and Stivan we will arrive to Martinšćica bay. We will then load our bicycles and the boat will take us to the town of Cres, the capital town of the island. We can have lunch during the tour of Cres, while dinner is on board of our boat. We will spend the night in the port of Cres (approximately 46 km).

Friday:

Our final stage will take us from the town of Cres 14 km north to the village of Predošćice and back. Following our return to Cres, we will have lunch and load our bicycles on the boat. We will then depart from the port in Cres and on the way back to Rijeka take one last swimming break in one of the coves in the northern part of the island (approximately 28 km).

Saturday:

Departure after breakfast until 9 am.
