Merry and dynamic, Barcelona is a city that leaves the impression of a young and modern metropolis and an ideal destination
for artists from all over the world. The city's bohemian atmosphere can best be experienced on its main artery, the La Rambla
Street. Buskers, flower and bird sellers and many pantomime artists are a picture that is easy to see if you go for a walk
around the city. Art springs out of every corner…wonderful Gaudi's buildings, such as the magnificent Sagrada Familia cathedral,
expressive Montjuic fountain and the romantic atmosphere of the city's beaches are reason enough to visit this unforgettable
place.
Although the mention of Casablanca will bring into the minds of many the legendary melodrama with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid
Bergman, this city is today completely different from the one depicted in the film. Wide avenues and modern buildings are
the picture of Casablanca today - a modern city and a large economic hub of Morocco. If you, however, do go exploring its
little streets, you will find the remains of the old oriental kingdom - mosques, bazaars and little shops reminiscent of ancient
times.
If you wish to feel the modern and metropolitan side of the Canary Island of Lanzarote, visit Arrecife, the capital of this
small island. A lively port, great shopping opportunities and beautiful beaches, parks, promenades, nightlife and all you
can wish for in a tourist resort, will welcome you. Arrecife is especially proud of its classic colonial architecture, because
of which he earned the nickname 'Venice of the Atlantic'.
The capital of Tenerife Island is the second most populous city of the Canary Islands. This charming town will charm you with
its avenues, parks and squares, modernist architecture and large green areas. Visit 'Plaza de Espana', right in the seafront,
'Cabildo de Tenerife' shopping street, and the Pilar church, built in the 18th century. Stroll around the most beautiful park
on the island, the 'Garcia Sanabria', where you can enjoy the exotic plants from the whole world.
It would be really difficult to overshadow the beauty of the Portuguese island of Madeira. Although small, this island offers
lots to its visitors - from historical monuments, amazing gardens, picturesque villages, magnificent landscapes, to volcanic
caves and natural beaches…you will soon realise how one visit to the island is simply not enough! Visit Funchal, the island's
capital, that was for long a destination reserved for higher echelons of the society exclusively. Today, however, the city
slowly opens its doors to visitors from all walks of life, who in turn enjoy its merry port, colourful markets, pristine parks
and many historical sites.
Situated south of Andalusia, Malaga is best known for being the birth place of Pablo Picasso and film star Antonio Banderas,
who returns to it often. Interesting historical remains will delight the history lovers, and amazing landscapes with picturesque
villages will enchant any passer-by at first sight. The Picasso Museum, located in the aristocratic palace in the heart of
the old part of the city, draws a huge number of tourists in search of culture. Do let yourself enjoy in coffee or shopping
in little streets of Malaga.
