The island of Prvić is situated between Vodice and Šibenik. It is the closest island to land and it probably got its name due to its position (the first island) It has been inhabited since the Middle Ages. Prvić is an ideal place for a peaceful holiday. There are two villages on the island: Prvić Luka and Prvić Šepurine. In Prvić Luka there is Church Lady of Grace with the grave of Faust Vrančić, the man who invented parachute. Prvić Šepurine is a small place composed of stone streets labyrinth. The island of Prvić is connected to land with ferryboats that drive between Šibenik, the island of Zlarin, the island of Prvić and Vodice.
