Hermitage Blaca

Interesting fact about this hermitage is that it started as a cave where hermits used to hide before Turk invasions. The cave was separated into several spaces for various purposes - kitchens, sleeping rooms, cellars, ovens etc. Later, true masterpieces were added to it, which were made from the island's white stone, who became ivory colored during the years. Among other things, you can visit the observatory and a library. While you approach this unusual architectural work of art, you will fell like approaching a fairytale castle.

Dragon's cave

The Dragon's cave and ornaments in it consitute an interesting sight which we highly recommend you to visit. Glagolitic monks inhabited the cave during the 15th century. There are several other caves on the islands (Stipančić, Dutić and Dračeva luka) and they show how such a way of living was usual. The Dragon's cave is full of ornaments showing unusual characters, dragons and mythological beings, which easily evoke worlds of elves and witches.

Vidova gora

Vidova gora is the highest mountain on the Adriatic islands. It was named after St. Vid church situated on its top, which is today in a ruinous state. On top of Vidova gora there is a house with a restaurant and stone tables and benches from where you can enjoy the view over other nearby islands of Korčula, Vis and Biševo.
