The islands of Hvar, Brac, Vis, Solta, Ciovo and some smaller islands belong to the group of central Dalmatian islands. The islands of Hvar and Brac are favorite trendy destinations which attract tourists with an ideal combination of nature, culture and fun. The island of Vis is the farthest settled island along the Adriatic where you will find hidden coves with beautiful beaches which are within walking and even sailing distances much like on the islands of Solta and Ciovo for those of you looking for peace and quiet to recharge your batteries. The blue grotto near the island of Vis is definitely worth seeing – here you shall see the blue light prodding through the sea from the bottom of the cave which is how the grotto got its name.
