Biograd [Zadar riviera]
Welcome to Biograd na moru, a very beautiful town of the Zadar Riviera within reach of the enchanting Kornati islands often called "the paradise for boaters" due to its diverse coves and beaches.
The legends says that Kornati islands were created by ancient gods inspired by the beauty of the sea which washes them. Biograd is the work of the same master hands. It is no surprise that Croatian kings were crowned in this town of a rich historical heritage.
It is situated on a peninsula with the view to the island of Pašman separated from it by a long channel ideal for windsurfing. Together with numerous sports and recreation facilities, there are here more than 20 tennis courts which make Biograd an ideal destination for those wishing active holidays.
