Nerezisca (island of Brac) [Island Brac]

Nerezisca lies in the interior of the island of Brac, 10 km south of the ferry port Supetar that is connected to the city of Split by daily ferry lines and is therefore easily accessible. Supetar is known for its long wine-growing tradition, homegrown food and production of aromatic oils from lavender and sage. It is also the starting point for trips to Vidova gora - the highest peak on the Adriatic islands. Picturesque architecture and rich history dating back to 1000 A.D. when Nerezisca was the administrative center of the entire island make it even more interesting for tourists. If you are looking for something different, not necessarily directly on the coast, Nerezisca is the right place for you, offering excellent cuisine and wines, rich cultural heritage, and breathtaking landscapes.
