Welcome to Podgora, a tourist destination and harbor on Makarska's splendid shoreline. The place has over 1500 inhabitants and can boast of having an excellent tourist offer, as well as numerous hotels and restaurants, apartments and rooms. The entire Makarska Riviera is known for its kilometer long pebble beaches that are sandy at some places, therefore, this destination is great for families with small children looking to play in shallow waters. Greenery and pine trees extend to the shoreline, while sports and recreational facilities are abundant. Many events, such as Fishermen Night, Podgora Day and various local festivals take place during the summer.
