Vrboska (island of Hvar) [Island Hvar]

Vrboska is a tourist destination and harbor in the central part of the northern coast of the island of Hvar. It is located in a narrow and deeply indented bay and has 523 inhabitants who live off of olive, fruit and wine growing, as well as off of fishing. Vrboska has everything you need for a quiet family holiday; it is surrounded by pine trees, it has several hotels, numerous private rooms and apartments, and many sports facilities. Apart from a harbor suitable to anchor small yachts, there is also a well-equipped marina for larger yachts in Vrboska.
