Opis

1st day

Boarding in Trogir between 11:30 and 13:00. Shortly after we sail towards Rogoznica, a picturesque fishermen´s place that lies on a small islet and is connected to land by a single narrow embankment. Allong the way there we anchor in a bay to take the first swimming break in the Adriatic. In the evening guests who arrive later by plane and which will be taken to Rogoznica will board the ship.

2nd day

We leave land and set sail towards Sibenik archipelago islands for a swim. Afterwords we will visit Zadar, the cultural and business centre of Northern Dalmatia. Zadar´s historical core, with its rich sacral and world architecture, was built on a peninsula, surrounded by great walls. Use your leisure time to go shopping in the narrow streets of the old town or enjoy the sounds of the unique, world famous Sea Organ installation, whose melodies are created by the force of the waves. Overnight at Zadar port.

3rd day

We sail southward. Our today´s goal is Dugi otok (Long Island) which owes its name to its 45 kilometres length, while having a width of just a couple hundred of meters. Most of the locals live and work in Zadar, which makes the island very peaceful on workdays, while the typical Mediterranean vibe takes over during weekends, when working "towners" return to their birthplaces. After a short stop and a swim break we continue on towards Telascica, a deeply cut cove in the South of Dugi otok which is also a nature park (entry fee approximately 5-8 € per person, payment on the spot). We recommend a stroll to "Srebrno jezero" (Silver Lake) known from Karl May´s movie of the same name, a salty lake with an underground connection to the sea. Across the lake you´ll reach a 100-meter cliff from which there´s a beautiful sea view, and in conditions of good visibility you can see Italy all the way across the Adriatic.

4th day

"On the last day of the Creation God desired to crown His work and thus created Kornati out of tears, stars and breath", wrote the Irish writer George Bernard Shaw. Wonderful nature, numerous small and large islands (it is said among folk: An island for every day of the year), beautiful sea, all this makes Kornati an unique paradise. They are the largest island group in the Adriatic, consisting of 147 islands, islets and cliffs with a total surface of 69 km2, scattered throughout the area of 230 km2. They are spread over 13 km in length between Dugi otok on the Northwest, Zirje and Pasman on the Southeast and Vrgade and Murter in the North and Northeast. We will sail along Kornati´s entire length and make a stop along the way, to take a swim before we reach Vodice. Enjoy your evening with a glass of wine in one of numerous "konobas" and restaurants.

5th day

Several miles further South, we leave the Adriatic and enter the estuary of Krka River. We drop anchor in Skradin, nearby the famous Krka waterfalls. Ships which can take you to the National park sail here. If you have the possibility to visit "Skradinski buk", best known part of the waterfalls, where Krka falls into 17 waterfalls in one 800-meter fall, and 100-meter wide cascades from the height of 45,7 m. Make sure not to forget your swimsuits because swimming in the crystal clear Krka right beneath the waterfalls is an unique experience you won´t want to miss. (Entrance to the National Park which includes a boat ride costs 8 €). Our next stop is Sibenik. Sibenik town was first mentioned in 1006, it is the youngest of large coastal cities, but at the same time the oldest Croatian town. It was founded neither by Greeks nor by Romans or the Byzantine, but by Croats. The most famous building in the old town centre is fortress-like St. Jacob´s cathedral. It´s the most significant Renaissance monument in Croatia, registered at UNESCO World Heritage. After a walk around town, we continue sailing down Krka River. We sail towards Zlarin, a small fishermen´s place on Zlarin Island, whose small port we´ll be spending the night in.

6th day

Our first daily objective is Split, second largest Croatian city and Dalmatia´s capital. This 1700-year old town, registered at UNESCO, developed out of Roman Emperor Diocletian´s Palace. After visiting the city we set sail towards Solta, spending the overnight in Stomorska.

7th day

We leave Solta Island. We´ll take another stop along the way for a swim in a bay. Early evening we reach Trogir, a part of UNESCO world heritage, know as "museum town". It is a beautiful experience to walk through the labyrinth of streets in the afternoon or evening, admire the walls, defending towers, churches, frescoes and ceilings or just to take a glimpse of the old yards. Overnight stay in Trogir.

8th day

Departure after breakfast around 9 am.
