The City Walls in Dubrovnik are one of the most impressive monuments in the world and the most visited one in Dubrovnik (in
1979 included on the UNESCO's World Heritage List), with more than a million visitors each year. They are long 1.940 m
encircling the city, constructed thru centuries, but the most important part of its construction took place in 15th and 16th
centuries, when its famous fortresses were constructed. Its height reaches 25 meters in some places.
