The ski resort Bad Kleinkirchheim, one of 15 most visited in Austria, lies on the slopes of Nockberge mountains, in the Spittal region. Passionate skiers have over 90 km of ski trails, a snowboard park, 370 ski cannons and 26 lifts at their disposal. There are over 1000 km of hiking trails at altitudes ranging from 1000 to 2500 m in the surrounding area. We also recommend extreme sports such as paragliding and windsurfing. Bad Kleinkirchheim is the birthplace of ski champion Franz Klammer to whom the World Ski Championship that will be held in Bad Kleinkirchheim in December 2003 is dedicated.

The closing competition will be held on the last day of school, after which the attendants will be issued with medals and diplomas. The price of ski school does not include the rental of ski equipment nor ski tickets. A 6-day ticket for children under 6 years of age costs approximately € 22 if bought through the ski school.
