Marmolada - Arabba is a ski area at the foot of the 3 342 m Marmolada Glacier, the highest mountain in the Dolomites. The region is well connected to other areas of the Dolomites Superski Ski Region. It has 30 ski lifts and some 60 km of ski trails. There is an attractive 12 km long ski trail from Punta Rocce Peak (3270 m) to Malga Ciapele. Apart from the impressive Dolomites rocks, the area is interesting as a WWI battlefield. It is an ideal starting point for the well-known 'Sella Ronda' ski tour around the massif of the same name.
